Kathryn Shade

Kathryn Shade has been with the National Conflict Resolution Center since May of 2017. As the Senior Program Manager of NCRC’s Center for Community Cohesion (CCC), Kathryn continues the work of community engagement through collaborations with local agencies, organizations and residents to promote a culture of inclusivity, community empowerment and cohesion.  Dedicated to community advocacy, she most recently worked for the Alliance for African Assistance, a refugee resettlement agency, as Interim Program Manager and employment Case Manager. Prior to that she spent five years as the Finance & Administration Manager for the Coalition of Neighborhood Councils, an umbrella organization for San Diego’s 4th District neighborhood councils.
