Dr. Jessica Kenerson
Throughout Dr. Kenerson’s 14 years of experience as an OB/GYN, she observed the way workplace dynamics and communication patterns impact healthcare delivery, team functionality, and provider wellbeing. This realization, coupled with leadership experience and public health expertise, led her to expand her professional focus to include coaching for people working in healthcare settings.
In her work with NCRC, Dr. Kenerson applies evidence-based approaches to help healthcare professionals transform challenging workplace relationships and navigate conflicts constructively. Her methodology integrates cognitive behavioral techniques with structured frameworks like the CTFAR model (Circumstances, Thoughts, Feelings, Actions, Results) and GROW model (Goals, Reality, Options, Way Forward), creating effective pathways for medical professionals to move beyond reactivity toward intentional communication. Dr. Kenerson creates reflective spaces where healthcare professionals can step back from high-pressure clinical environments, gain awareness around their responses to conflict, and develop strategies to interact with purpose and clarity. Her work strengthens individual practitioners, enhances team dynamics, and contributes to more resilient healthcare organizations where the essential human connections at the heart of medicine can flourish.
