Marc Meyer
Director of Operations
Marc A. Meyer is currently the Director of Operations at the National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC). Originally from Delaware, he moved to California in 2001 to attend college. After studying in San Luis Obispo, San Diego, and Belgium, Marc received his B.S. in International Security and Conflict Resolution.
Marc has been involved with NCRC since 2006 when he worked as an intern in the NCRC’s Community division. After his internship, he became a small claims court mediator and hearing officer for NCRC from 2006 till 2009. As a mediator Marc has mediated over 100 disputes and as a Hearing Officer has administered over 50 hearings. He was hired as a full-time staff member in 2009. Since then, Marc has held various positions at NCRC. First as Senior Program Manager for NCRC’s Hearing Program, NCRC’s Mediator Credential Program and NCRC’s Community training projects. He spent two years as NCRC’s Board Liaison working to help build relationships between NCRC Staff and NCRC Board Members. Marc then progressed on to managing NCRC’s Community and Campus training initiatives as Associate Director of NCRC’s Training Institute.
Marc plays a pivotal role in the growth of NCRC’s training initiatives by being the primary driver of creating systems to manage the exponential growth. Marc has helped to lead the organization from conducting twenty-five trainings per year to now conducting over six hundred trainings annually. He also spends considerable time delivering NCRC’s premier training courses. He has conducted over 200 training sessions both locally and internationally.
