Nancy Maldanado
Nancy Maldonado is a visionary leader with extensive expertise in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. She has been recognized for her significant contributions, earning honors such as Becker’s Healthcare “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer to Know” and the San Diego Business Journal “Latino Leaders of Influence.” Additionally, she received the prestigious Libby Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership from the Nonprofit Institute and was celebrated with a City of San Diego Proclamation for “Nancy Maldonado Day.”
Nancy holds a Master of Science in Exercise Science. Significant achievements, including being named a Hispanic Center of Excellence Scholar and co-authoring journal publications and a book chapter, mark her academic journey. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership Studies at the University of San Diego, where she earned the Dean’s Excellence and Diversity Scholarship Awards.
Her dedication to community service includes serving on the board of directors of numerous nonprofits that span sectors such as education, arts and culture, and trauma-informed support for survivors of relationship and sexual violence. Additionally, as the CEO of Maldonado Consulting, Nancy leverages her extensive experience to empower organizations nationwide. Her work as a strategist and equity advocate helps organizations build inclusive cultures and amplify their social impact, making her a highly influential thought leader and consultant in leadership, impact, and social change.
