Wahida Sekandar

Dr. Wahida Sekandar is a physician and certified dream builder coach, helping her clients design and manifest their ideal life through mental and emotional release. After earning her degree in biology from California State University- Long Beach, she received her doctorate degree from Ross University School of Medicine. This led to Wahida’s time performing research for four years at the University of California- San Diego as a clinical research coordinator, while coordinating and conducting clinical trials as a clinical trial research coordinator. This work led to her experience of providing medical assistance, counseling, and mental emotional release therapy for different organizations, such as San Diego Women Care and Afghan Education for a Better Tomorrow.

Currently, Wahida focuses her work on helping her clients build their dream into a life they truly love to live. As a certified trainer and master practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Mental/Emotional Release Therapy (MER-Therapy), she specializes in coaching clients through life changes, blockages, and the cycles they find themselves in. Facing some similar challenges in her past as her clients allows her passion to empower her teachings through one-on-one coaching, group sessions, workshops, and keynote presentations. Alongside her work as a transformation and integrative life coach, she currently serves on the boards of Immigrant Integration and Empowerment as well as Afghan Education for a Better Tomorrow, both nonprofit organizations.
