Maggie Vey

Maggie Vey holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. In addition to this, she is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling at National University to receive a Marriage and Family Therapist license. Her educational background and affiliations with these specific programs helped lead her toward advocacy for marginalized populations within various communities.

With over 5 years of cafe management experience, she has developed training programs and facilitated meetings geared toward an inclusive lens keeping in mind the needs of various demographics including neurodivergent individuals, LGBTQ+, and more. She also has experience working with youth experiencing learning disabilities and at-risk youth after-school programs. Both allow her to bring curiosity, wonder, and a drive for advocacy into her training facilitation at NCRC.

When I am not studying clinical counseling, I do several activities. My favorites include playing with my 2 dogs, knitting, hiking, rock climbing, or thrifting vintage clothes and furniture.
