Jacqualine “Jackie” Wong

After graduating from UC San Diego with a BS in biology and her master’s in education, Jacqualine Wong spent the next 9 years teaching in public and independent schools. During her last few years in the K12 world, she had the opportunity to unofficially mentor new teachers and share information she gathered over the years.

These days, Jackie works with new teaching candidates as a field supervisor for the San Diego County of Education and can be found grading teaching candidate portfolios for Pearson. Jackie’s passion lies in creating spaces where everybody’s thoughts can be shared and building safe environments for people to ask questions.

In Jackie’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, getting lost in science fiction and fantasy novels, rewatching Marvel movies with her spouse, and adventuring in theme parks, like Disneyland and Universal Studios!
