Passionate about fostering transformation at the personal and professional levels in the workplace, Dr. Erika Powell is a seasoned executive facilitator, coach, and consultant on a mission to create organizations where people thrive. For the past 18+ years, Dr. Powell has tackled some of business’ biggest challenges in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Organizational Culture, Employee, and Leadership Development, Emotional Intelligence, and Employee Engagement in several industries, domestically and abroad.

She is a leading expert at teaching people how to lead, connect, and collaborate across differences while creating meaningful change and impact for leaders and their teams and organizations. Her strength lies in creating safe environments where clients connect to their cultural identities, articulate their disconnects and differences, express strong emotions in healthy ways, navigate conflict from a place of vulnerability and authenticity, and feel supported in taking the creative and interpersonal risks needed to create new possibilities and ways of being.

Dr. Powell holds a doctorate in Instructional Technology and Design and has a background in Intercultural Communication and Cultural Anthropology. She teaches MBA courses on leadership, innovation, and employee engagement and motivation. She is also an ICF ACC certified Professional Diversity Coach, Points of You Practitioner, and Mindful Facilitator.
