Armando Barajas: TrainerAlberto Bautista

Alberto Bautista serves as a trainer with the National Conflict Resolution Center, bringing over two decades of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, audit leadership, and cross-cultural engagement. As the former Director of Diversity & Inclusion at a San Diego based corporation, Alberto led enterprise-wide initiatives that fostered belonging, mentored underrepresented talent, and created psychologically safe spaces for dialogue. His work included designing mentorship programs, facilitating inclusive workshops, and organizing summits that engaged thousands of participants across hybrid platforms.

A proud Mexican immigrant and member of the LGBTQ+ community, Alberto’s leadership is rooted in lived experience and a deep commitment to systemic change. Fluent in Spanish and English, he serves on local and statewide LGBTQ+ boards, where he chairs audit committees and advances inclusive governance. His bicultural lens and strategic mindset have made him a trusted advisor in both corporate and nonprofit spaces.

Alberto is currently pursuing a Leadership Coaching Certification at the University of San Diego, expanding his impact as a mentor, speaker, and entrepreneur. His guiding belief—“No se trata de llegar solo, sino de abrir puertas para que lleguemos todes”—shapes his approach to conflict resolution, community building, and inclusive leadership.
