Brittney Ochira
Brittney Ochira is a conflict resolution professional and scholar. In addition to being a trainer and community circle facilitator, Brittney works in NCRC’s Training Institute as a Senior Project Manager and serves as the Liaison for the NCRC/UC San Diego Applied Research Center for Civility.
Brittney holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Justice from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor’s degree in International Security and Conflict Resolution from San Diego State University. She has worked extensively with refugees and immigrants, youth, people in recovery from substance misuse disorders, and in many community collaborative settings. Brittney is experienced in curriculum development and creating workshops designed for diverse audiences. She is a Restorative Practitioner who works to bridge divides and strengthen community bonds, and is actively involved in NCRC’s efforts to build a more civil and cohesive region. She specializes in community, campus, and refugee workshops.
