Jina Virtue

Jina Virtue is a career educator who brings over 30 years of experience and skill to the NCRC training team.  She served as a classroom teacher and literacy coach prior to becoming a district administrator specializing in Secondary Literacy. She has designed and facilitated professional development for teachers and administrators, served as a state and local trainer for educational policies and initiatives, and coauthored policy documents related to textbook adoption, curriculum design, literacy intervention programs and gifted enrichment. Professional roles include Secondary Literacy Coordinator, Response to Intervention Coordinator, University Mentor teacher, and Gifted Coordinator.  Jina has also been trained as a crises/trauma support provider.

As a member of the NCRC training team Jina works with corporate employee and leadership teams, community organizations, and education clients.
