    A Path Forward - Be Supported Fox 5 San Diego covers the A Path Forward series event at the USS Midway Museum. The theme for the night was, "Be Supported." This was the most vulnerable and open dialogue in the series, as participants were asked to look at their own biases and personal challenges. Attendees then had an opportunity to share what they needed help with individually to get the support that they needed in order to become the change that they want in our community.

    Employers Join Workplace Equity & Civility Initiative Lawyers Club invites all regional employers to adopt the Workplace Equity & Civility Initiative Commitment, a statement that the employer commits to strive for work environments free of sexual harassment and gender discrimination by adopting and enforcing policies that promote pay equity; respectful workplace speech, language and conduct; environments where employees feel safe to speak and report concerns; education for all employees and measurable strategies to evaluate the education’s effectiveness; and positive engagement from employees regarding these issues.

    Anti-Harassment Training and SB 778 The California State Legislature recently signed SB 778 into law, which requires all businesses with five or more employees to provide mandatory anti-harassment training for each employee.
