Silvia Figueroa

Silvia Figueroa is a proud Mexican American born and raised in Boyle Heights, East Los Angeles, and in the Central Valley. Silvia earned her BA in Psychology and MS in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Bakersfield. She concentrated on working with youth and families in the mental health system of care for over 10 years. Her primary focus was assisting children and youth with improving their functioning across home, educational, and community settings. She also focused on collaborating with multiple service agencies in the community to assist with reunification and permanent placement of children and their families. Silvia is a certified bilingual and licensed mental health therapist and is empathetic, compassionate, and passionate about serving her community. Currently, Silvia focuses on her work at the National Conflict Resolution Center as a trainer.
